Mountain biking is an exhilarating experience and is the reason why many people
become addicted to mountain biking. However, it is very important that both
beginners and advanced riders always ride with the safety of themselves and
others in mind. In order to ride safely and to get the most out of our
recommended products, we recommend that you:
1) Always read the product instructions, safety warnings and riding tips
2) Learn to ride your bike on easy terrain until you are competent
3) Get expert advice on any aspect of mountain biking you are unsure of
You should only attempt advanced mountain biking activities such as steep roll-in's, drop-off's, getting 'air', jumping, etc. when you have become an experienced and competent mountain bike rider. Always use the appropriate safety equipment for each activity, which can include helmets, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads. We strongly advise that you get expert advice from your dealer before attempting any advanced mountain biking activities
Children under the age of 12 are capable of riding mountain bikes but must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are advised to ensure that children in their care are riding safely and are in control of their bikes at all times
Remember, you are responsible for the safe operation of your bike at all times
A
mountain bike rider must be fit, healthy and be over 18 years of age.
(Under 18's should have parental permission and adult supervision).
Do not attempt to ride your mountain bike until you have completely mastered control of the bike
Never ride your mountain bike in congested areas with people or solid obstacles around
Never ride your mountain bike alone. Always have someone watching out for you.
